In this document, we shall present an overview of Ecuador and its laws along with recommendations on entering the Ecuadorian market. As an exporter of main products, Ecuador is an interesting target for foreign investors and that could permit the development of the country.
For several years, the country has been facing problems due to a lot of government changes and the high incidence of corruption and poverty similar to a lot of other South American countries. Initially, we shall deal with Ecuador and its characteristics followed by the political, cultural, financial and legal risks of the country. Finally, we shall examine the kind of business possible in Ecuador and how an outsider could negotiate in a business deal in the country.
