I have just received your email regarding your VIP guest problem. As I understand, your customer is used to the Guoman in Hanoi, but the hotel is fully booked. I have the solution to your issue. I would recommend the "Lucky Plaza Hotel", a wonderful 3 stars hotel (not part of the big chain hotels), in the centre of Hanoi. In fact, this lovely hotel is located in a quiet part of the old quarter and offers 50 quiet guest rooms with excellent views over the nearby gardens. All of them are equipped with AC, satellite TV, in-house movie, and music systems, and the prices are really competitive. The difference between a deluxe room and a suite is only about 10$.
